On Wednesday (April 26th, 2017), the second student exhibition of Iran was held at Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat in the presence of authorities of Qaen town. This exhibition was held at Imam Khomeini boulevard in front of the grand mosque-Noor Credit Institution building until April 30th 2017 at 18:00-22:00 and was open to the public. Students of this university who come from many provinces of the country, including Golestan, South Khorasan, Kordestan, Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, showcased their traditions, handicrafts, and local cloths and souvenirs. On the closing ceremony of this exhibition, which was held in the presence of Friday prayers leader, governor and a number of officials of Qaen town, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Shafiei Mim, chairman of Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, introduced the goal of this exhibition to be familiarization of students with local customs of various provinces, stating: in this exhibition, small occupations and industries can be introduced to each other. In a year named as “economy of resistance; production and employment” by our Supreme Leader, we can take advantage of such exhibitions to develop small jobs and industries, moving them toward sustainable economy.
