On June 1, 2024, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat and Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman.

According to the Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Industry & Society Relations Group of Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat and Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman signed a memorandum of understanding to promote scientific synergy and jointly implement research projects in the fields of barberry and saffron.

This agreement was signed on the morning of Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Faculty of Agriculture of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, in the presence of Dr. Hamid Mortezapur, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, representing the university president, and Dr. Mohsen Afsharmanesh, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, representing the president of that university, along with several faculty members.

According to the memorandum, from this date forward, both parties will engage in extensive joint cooperation in defining and implementing research projects and student theses at the master’s and doctoral levels.
