: Specialized Seminar on Solar Cooling Held at Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat February 6, 2025.

According to the Public Relations Office of Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, the first scientific seminar of the Solar Cooling Tech Challenge was held on Tuesday, February 6, 2025, in the Ofogh Building of Bozorgmehr University. The event was organized by the Ofogh Innovation Institute and the university’s Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Industry Relations, with the participation of energy specialists, professors, students, and enthusiasts in the energy field.

At the beginning of the session, Dr. Mortezapur, faculty member of the Mechanical Engineering Department, outlined the event’s framework, explaining the judging process and the specific criteria for selecting the best student proposals.

Later, the issue of energy imbalance in the country was discussed, and solar cooling was introduced as a potential solution. Students and attendees shared their views on the topic.

As part of the challenge, interested students will have two weeks to submit their proposals under faculty supervision. After the evaluation process, outstanding projects will be recognized and considered for funding to support their construction.

Dr. Gholamali Nejad, Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Industry Relations at Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, emphasized the importance of this initiative while outlining the funding process. He further stated that the university will concurrently host this challenge at the Qaen Student Research Center. Simultaneously, the Imam Reza (AS) Student Research Center in Qaenat County will participate in the event under the title 'Student Challenge on Solar Cooling.' The top projects will be submitted to the Khwarizmi Festival.
