According to the university's public relations center report; Dr. Hamid Mortezapour was appointed as the director of the mechanical engineering department by a decree of Dr. Seyed Ehsan Shakib, the president of the university.

In the one hundred twelfth meeting of the educational council of the university yesterday morning (2023 November 6, Monday) with the presence of all the managers of the university departments, it was held in the room of the Vice-Chancellor of Education and Research of Bozorgmehr University of Qaenat, Dr. Hamid Mortezapour was introduced as the director of the mechanical engineering educational department and Dr. Hirani was honored for his efforts.
